Rolf Heinz, born in 1966, graduated at the university of Hamburg (Germany) in political science and business. He began his professionnal carreer at Bauer Verlag as Executive Assistant in 1995 and later became Manager of the Media Research Department. In 1997 he worked as Head of Commercial Department at Jahreszeiten Verlag Publishing. Later in 1998 he became International Project Manager at Bertelsmann Arvato for Deutscher Supplement Verlag.
In 2000 he joined as a Project Manager the International Department of Gruner+Jahr located in Paris (France) and directed by Axel Ganz and became two years later Head of the department. In 2004 Rolf Heinz was nominated Executive Vice President of Gruner+Jahr International division in Hamburg before being appointed CEO of the Italian joint venture G+J/Mondadori.

In October 2009 Rolf Heinz became President and CEO of Group Prisma Presse.
