Martin Trautmann
After studying communication sciences, business administration and politics at Ludwig- Maximilian University in Munich, Trautmann first completed an editorial traineeship at Deutsche Presse-Agentur (dpa), then worked there as an editor. He joined Gruner + Jahr in 1998. After working as an executive management assistant at STERN, in 1999 he moved to the International Magazines division under Axel Ganz in Paris. In 2002, he helped G+J enter the market in China as Managing Director of G+J Shanghai. Trautmann has worked at the Gruner+Jahr/Mondadori in Milan since January 2004. After initially heading the Business Development department, where he worked on the journalistic development of new magazines, he most recently supervised the publisher's entire portfolio of magazines as Managing Director Magazines.
Martin Trautmann joined the Prisma Presse Group as publisher of business titles and discovery titles in January 2010.
